Mande is an Apex Legends pro with nearly 300,000 followers on Twitch alone, and he’s now breaking down the details of a gambling company’s incredible offer to promote his site on his stream.

In recent years, there has been a huge conflict between gaming and gambling on Twitch. Streamers like Xpozed and Trainwreck have been at the forefront of this movement, but it looks like one company is trying to convince the rest to join the tide.

They were ultimately unsuccessful, but the top-tier support player dug deep into the offer and what might make someone accept the kind of deal that was on the table for him.

Broke the balance of a $400,000 gambling contract he had overturned

In a Video July 28Mande was discussing the influx of cryptocurrency-based organizations involved in esports, such as the 210 million deal that led to FTX and TSM coming together in June 2021.

After talking about how life-changing this amount of money can be, the broadcaster brought up the gambling offer and talked about how profitable it could be.

“I’ve already turned down a really big offer from a big gambling site and it wasn’t even that bad,” he said. “I think I had to gamble four hours a week and they were paying me $15,000 a month.”

He went on to explain that the company also pays him $6,000 to gamble with each stream, which he gets to keep if he gets the money back by the end of the job. I think the offer was between $300,000 and $400,000 over six months.

Mande didn’t elaborate on why he turned down the deal, but he may be feeling good about his current routine. He later pointed out that if someone offered a deal that would change the course of the next 20 or 30 years for any broadcaster, they would be a fool to say no.
