Hololive star Sakura Miko has moved up in the streaming rankings to become the #1 VTuber for the second quarter of 2022, according to Stream Hatchet statistics. She is the third biggest female streamer overall, with VShojo’s Usada Pekora and Ironmouse rounding out the list.
She may not be the first name that comes to mind when you hear Hololio – especially for Western audiences – but Sakura Miko One of the biggest VTubers in the world for a reason.
With more than 4.5 million hours watched between April and June, the pink-haired superstar (by her name) has taken home the accolade of Most Viewed VTuber for the second quarter of 2022. According to a report from Stream Hatchet.
It’s been a big quarter for Sakura Miko. She It recently created 1.5 million YouTube subscribers, and basically had a jam-packed schedule for the entire three months. He is very active on the Rust and Minecraft Hololive servers and collaborates with other stars of the VTuber agency.
These numbers are good not only for VTuber but for any content creator. Miko’s 4.5 million in three months makes her the third most popular streamer on any platform outside of China, behind Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa (8.2 million) and Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys (also 4.5 million).
He was joined in the top 10 by Hululio star Osada Pekura, who came in fifth with 4.1 million watch hours. That’s even more impressive considering he took a month off and returned in mid-June.
VShojo star Ironmouse rounded out the list with 3.3 million hours watched. That’s a drop from his record-breaking quarter earlier this year thanks to Sabathon, but he continues to command the majority of his audience to move forward as Twitch’s biggest VTuber.
These three names are the main components of this top 10 list, but as VTubing continues to grow and the first new generation is seemingly endless, expect more to appear.
