International fame knocked more than once

Ever since High School Musical ended, the cast has been very busy. Let’s see what they did.

I Want to Feel Old The first High School Musical movie was released 16 years ago. Those of us who watched it as children are now adults. We are in university, we have a job. Some of us even have our own children. Ugh

Its actors were also relatively unknown. 16 years later, this is definitely not the case for some of them, so where do they stand now?

Do we need to get into this at all? It is faster to say what Zak does not have From his HSM days. He’s been in The Greatest Showman, Baywatch – he’s even played serial killer Ted Bundy in Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile. The 34-year-old is now worth $40 million and moved to Australia last year. With countless projects on the way, it certainly won’t be the last we hear from Troy Bolton.

Maybe a little less known than Zach, but still a huge star. But that doesn’t mean he wasn’t busy. Unlike Zack in the first film, he sang for Gabriella in all of the HSM films – but he wanted to pursue acting. Shortly after High School Musical, he starred in such films as Monster with Alex Pettyfer, Soccer Punch, and Spring Breakers.

Most recently, she appeared in Netflix’s The Princess Switch franchise, playing three characters simultaneously. He also starred opposite Andrew Garfield in the Oscar-nominated Tik…Tik..Boom! And he took on the role of singer again.

Just this year, he was one of the presenters at the Met Gala in Manhattan.

You’d be lying to yourself if you didn’t secretly love Sharpie Evans. Your version of You Put The Music In Me is top notch and that’s the hill we’ll die on.

After High School Musical, Ashley pursued a singing career and released her debut album Headstrong in 2007. The success of his character also meant another solo film after the end of the original franchise. She then turned her talent into voice acting, playing Candace on Phineas and Ferb from 2007 to 2015.

She recently appeared on CBS’ Carol’s Second Act and was a panelist on The Masked Dancer.

This 37-year-old actor has lived a quieter life than other actors. The actor, singer, and songwriter has worked on several projects since HSM, but none of them have been particularly popular. However, he appeared in the remake of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.

His list of television credits is extensive, with starring roles in Family Guy, Phineas and Ferb, and Pinky Malinky.

Gabriella’s best friend Taylor McCasey was one of our favorite characters in High School Musical. But what has he done since then? Well, Monique had a recurring role on The Suite Life of Zac and Cody (which also starred Ashley Tisdale!) and appeared on Dancing with the Stars.

Unfortunately, Monique hasn’t been around much since then. However, in 2012 she got married and in 2010 she became the first UN Youth Champion!

The youngest lead actor, Corbin Blue, just turned 33. After a short musical career, Corbin devoted his time to Broadway, starring as Usnoi in In the Heights and Bill Calhoun/Lucentio in Kiss Me, Kate.

In 2016, he married Canadian actress Sasha Clements.
