How Artifacts Charge in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Arts are special abilities that are used in every battle you face. Each character has a set of arts that they will learn during the story. Each arte has a cooldown after use, but how they recharge varies based on your class. This is how to recharge Arts in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

How to recharge Arts in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Arts are powers that are unique to each character and class. These skills are diverse and fall into different types. Arts that deal damage, heal allies, or destroy enemies have long cooldowns before being used again. These arts have different ways of speeding up their cooldowns, and the kingdom of each character class determines how they can recharge their arts. These kingdoms are Keves and Agnus, and the respective classes must stick to their respective methods to repeatedly use arts during battle.

Your party consists of six core members. Noah, Lens and Yoni are from Chios. Mew, Tayeon and Sena come from Agnus. Each of these two nations has a unique way of recharging their arts.

The kingdom of Keves has a way to recharge their art class. Kevesi’s art gauges fill automatically over time. Other than special buffs, these arts always have the same return time during battle.

Agnus Kingdom can charge its class arts in two ways. Unlike Keves, their Arts class does not automatically refill. Each auto attack your character performs fills up a small amount of their art gauge. Using attack cancel is a faster way to recharge Arts with Agnus classes.

When your auto attack hits an enemy, immediately use an Art to cancel the auto attack animation and activate the art you selected. If you do it right, you’ll see a small white flash above your character and the Art gauge will fill up significantly faster than usual.

Understanding how to use each class’s recharge method is very important in implementing advanced combat mechanics. Use these skills to repeatedly gain combos and master arts in challenging encounters.
