Editor’s note: Below is a summary of crime reports taken from the daily reports of the Greeley Police Department. Only a few of the hundreds of reports will be used in this weekly column due to space limitations.

July 7

11 am: A caller in the 1500 block of 65th Street reported a man in a tie-dyed shirt standing across the mini-golf course and being aggressive toward families.

11:45 am: Caller in the 600 block of 18th Street reported a bat crawling in the alley.

1 pm: A caller in the 2800 block of 10th Street reported a woman coming forward and saying she could hear “locking” on the music campus.

2 pm: A caller in the 1400 block of North 11th Street reported a raccoon on the property was lethargic and unafraid of humans.

6:45 pm: A caller in the 2200 block of 23rd Street reported that a group of teenagers broke the antenna of the tennis hall and then threw a shopping cart off the roof.

8 pm: A caller in the 3600 block of 29th Street reported a battery-operated device in the trees at the park.

July 12

11:15 am: A caller in the 1000 block of 10th Street reported that patrons of a church were throwing dog food and yelling at a group with a Democratic candidate in a Fourth of July parade.

5:45 pm: A caller in the 2400 block of 8th Street reported a man vandalizing Kentucky Fried Chicken property by cutting sprinkler system pipes.

9 pm: Caller in the 2500 block of 11th Street reported the bottom half of the ATM was torn off.

10:45 PM: A caller in the 1000 block of 6th Street reported that someone was holding a meeting in the streets next to the building.

July 14

5:30 am: Caller in the 2100 block of 47th Street reported a man was asked to leave the basketball court and said he would leave if he could make a three-pointer. He left after taking the shot.

6:45 am: A caller near US 34th and 65th Street reported a person wrapped in a white towel on the side of the road.

12:30 pm: A caller in the 100 block of 22nd Street reported a man carrying a taxi hub on a string and acting strangely.

4 pm: A man in the 2800 block of 27th Street reported being sedated in the hospital for a week and his landlord evicted him without notice.

9:30 pm: A caller in the 800 block of 30th Court Street reported that a neighbor’s windows appeared covered in blood and that someone appeared to be painting with their fingers in the blood.

July 16

9:45 am: A caller in the 2500 block of 11th Street reported a man holding a valve and sitting on the curb.

Noon: A caller in the 3700 block of 10th Street reported a customer got into a fight after trying to return items without a receipt.

6:30 am: A woman in the 1900 block of 38th Street reported she had a urinary tract infection and thought she was having hallucinations, which included bats dying in her yard and a dog hiding under a bush.

8 pm: A caller in the 2400 block of 8th Street reported a woman walking in the middle of the street and swinging a pipe around.
