According to multiple sources, Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings will continue to share hosting duties for the upcoming 39th season of the game show.
It’s been a race between the producers to find a replacement for Alex Trebek and it looks like Bialik and Jennings are ‘it’.
In case you didn’t know, Jeopardy’s host is missing! Long and beloved Alex Trebek died due to pancreatic cancer in November 2020 at the age of 80.
Regardless, the duo were among the initial lineup of guest hosts following Mike Richards’ surprise exit from Jeopardy!.
Bialik and Jennings served as full-time hosts for the remainder of season 38. Moreover, the two appear to be doing well and the duo has been well received by the audience.
Furthermore, the info promo recently went on to earn an Emmy Award for Outstanding Game Show during the day. This marks the third consecutive win for the series.
Bialik’s negotiations have focused more on her availability dates since she will appear on the new season of Fox’s Call Me Kat. The 46-year-old actress also serves as an executive producer on the show.

Mike Richards, then-executive producer, was announced to replace late presenter Alex Trebek after a months-long search on August 11, 2021.
But shortly after news broke that Richards had been involved in several sexual harassment and discrimination lawsuits while he was a producer on The Price Is Right.
It got worse after a report by The Ringer’s Claire McNear.
In the article, McNear details Richards’ offensive and insulting comments on a now-defunct podcast called The Randumb Show.
The report also triggered the Anti-Defamation League’s call for an investigation against Richards.
Furthermore, nine days after being appointed to the coveted job, Richards has officially stepped down from the role of Jeopardy!
Richards claimed it became, “too much of a distraction and not the right movement for the show.”
New episodes of Jeopardy! Season 39 will be available to stream from September 12, 2022.
