Fact finding: Did Tom Selleck die in 2022? Explanation of the hoax of death

Another disturbing rumor circulating on the Internet is the death of well-known actor Tom Selleck.

Some fans are beginning to believe the claims made in a number of posts widely shared on Twitter that the Hollywood icon is dead.

Many celebrities, including Tom, have been the target of such unfounded rumors.

Tom Selleck is still alive

The scam was created by a YouTube channel that is well known for distributing false information regarding celebrity deaths.

The channel, which has more than 22,800 members, posted a video on July 26 with the caption, “10 minutes ago / RIP Tom Selleck / Died of terminal cancer / Goodbye Tom Selleck.”

The assertion is not supported by evidence and the actor’s last name is misspelled.

His career is the only thing described; His fake death was ruled out. The channel has come under fire in the comments for making up false stories about famous people just to get attention.

The same station also states that Chuck Norris passed away today, which is as absurd as the scam relating to Tom’s death.

However, Tom is undoubtedly still alive and well in 2022.

He is currently playing Frank Reagan, the NYPD commissioner, in the CBS drama Blue Bloods. In October 2022, the popular show will return for Season 13.

Ridiculous rumors that have fans worried about Tom Selleck

It’s called “sick” or “clickbait”, but recently, there have been a number of baseless rumors that celebrities have died and they haven’t, which has alarmed fans.

Tom Holland, Snoop Dogg, Shane Dawson, and Will Smith are some of the other well-known characters who have fallen victim to death scams.

Many fans believed the rumor about Tom even though it was clearly false, and they were very concerned. The deception was quickly detected by others.

I just cried, one anxious viewer wrote under the video. Is this a fact or a lie? Why do they say this is out of my control. Is this true please?
