An online battle broke out between Britney Spears and her mother Lynn, and Britney just released her latest prayer.

Britney, 40, criticized her mother late Monday after she retracted the singer’s allegations that she was her ghost and left Britney during her involuntary stay at a mental health facility in 2019.

“I’ve also let people know this is the only time she’s texting me,” Britney wrote in the Notes app, which she posted screenshots of on Instagram. “Play the perfect responsible parent and go to church in Louisiana…it’s a joke!!!” She added. “You screwed it up for me… I don’t remember ever getting a text from you!!!”

And she continued, “You have some audacity to show your messages when you know that you have hurt me so badly [sic] It’s never funny!!!”

Going even further, Britney accused Lynn of abuse. She wrote, “You offended me.” “[Y]es I’m going to say it and it’ll amaze me that you’re still playing my prayer-loving mom.”

Britney made her initial accusations against Lynn on Sunday, posting screenshots of a text conversation with her mother during her time in the mental health facility. “These are my text messages to my mom at that place 3 years ago,” Britney wrote in a comment on her now-deleted post. The singer added, “I’m showing her because there was no response… When she came out, her words were ‘You should have let me visit you and hug you,'” noting that her mother’s reaction was out of proportion to Britney’s plight she was feeling at the time.

It was Britney’s letters to her mother about the medications she was being prescribed. “I feel like he’s trying to kill me,” she said of her doctor. “I swear to God I do.”

Similarly, Britney claimed that her best friend, Jansen Fitzgerald, also did not respond to her messages expressing concerns about her medication.

Lynn, 67, retracted Britney’s allegations early Monday in her own Instagram post. Britney, I have all the ‘full conversations’ too! She captioned a screenshot of texts Fitzgerald posted on her Instagram story on Monday in an effort to prove that she had indeed responded to Spears’ messages. “It hurts you because you feel that the people who love you most have betrayed you! Let me come to you! I love you!” Lynn hasn’t shared any screenshots of her own that could show she responded to the message Britney accused of ignoring.

However, Fitzgerald’s screenshots appear to show that she responded to Britney. But Fitzgerald believes her messages to the singer may have been deleted by someone involved in the guardianship with access to Britney’s phone. Previous reports from New York times She alleged that Britney’s iCloud account was monitored by a monitoring team assigned to help those responsible for the guardianship, specifically Britney’s father Jamie Spears, to get her under control.

I answered!! Fitzgerald wrote in a comment on her Instagram story.

“This message [sic] Along with thousands of messages [sic] She was sent to a court investigator in 2019 to help out my friend Britney Spears,” claiming that she and Britney “talked daily when she was at her last facility.”

“I don’t know if some of my messages are or not [sic] They were taken down by outside sources or what happened, but I know the courts kept them all because I was so worried about her and felt that my letters could help her case,” she added.

According to Fitzgerald, she and Lynne “had a sense” that Britney’s phone was “being monitored,” which she says led them to be careful about the text messages they sent her.

“When I left the facility, my number was blocked and we never spoke again!”

As for the content of Fitzgerald’s responses, she appears to have addressed Britney’s concerns about lithium saying, “At least I think you [sic] At least in a safe range. She says they monitor their blood levels so they can keep them within a certain range.” Fitzgerald also told the pop icon she had “no luck” in getting the number of the attorney Britney was trying to call.
