Kevin Feige announces MCU Phase 4 is over, Phase 5 begins

During Marvel Studios’ highly anticipated session at San Diego Comic-Con, Kevin Feige confirmed that Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be ending later this year.

The panel opened with the Feige reveal of Phase 4 – which started with the Disney + series WandaVision – It will end later this year, with the Disney + She-Hulk series and the upcoming movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The news is approaching a phase that spanned over two years, featuring a variety of new characters entering the MCU world.

Besides closing stage 4, Feige also confirmed that stage 5 will enter the highly anticipated stage Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniawhich will premiere on February 17, 2023. Feige then went on to surprise the audience by revealing all of his currently planned Phase 5 slate, which includes six new Disney+ series and five new movies.
